Cambridge Industries Group (CIG), today announced a live demonstration of a complete, first-ever, 200G FR4 optical module at CIOE 2019, Shenzhen, China. The module is fully compliant with Open Eye MSA specifications and interoperable with multiple vendors’ products including DSP based 200G optical modules.
CIG selected MaxLinear’s MoCA 2.5 SoC as the MOCA 2.5 solution in Next Generation 10G PON ONT Platform.
The MxL3710 enables CIG’s new ONTs to deliver multi-gigabit home networking speed by using MoCA 2.5 as the WAN backbone.
